Are the phone components in the frames real?
Yes, all core components used by Xreart (such as logic boards, cameras, and casings) are disassembled from real, used devices. We give these obsolete electronics a second life through "tech archaeology."
Is it safe to have a battery in the frame? Is there a risk of leakage or explosion?
It is completely safe. We use highly realistic battery models instead of real lithium batteries. Since real batteries pose risks of swelling or leaking in long-term sealed environments, we use safe materials to ensure the permanent preservation of the artwork.
What materials are the frames made of?
We use high-quality solid wood frames paired with high-transparency, wear-resistant acrylic or tempered glass panels. This provides excellent visual effects while effectively protecting the delicate electronic parts from dust and moisture.
Will the components inside fall off over time?
No. Each component is precisely fixed by experienced technicians using industrial-grade strong adhesive. Before leaving the factory, we conduct rigorous vibration tests to ensure the artwork remains in perfect condition during long-distance shipping and wall mounting.
Why do some components appear to have slight scratches?
Because we use real recycled devices, some casings may retain slight traces of use as they once accompanied their previous owners. This is the soul of "tech art"—each piece is a unique witness to history.
DIY & Digital Templates
What is the difference between a DIY Kit and a Digital Template?
The DIY Kit includes the frame, tools, printed layout paper, and glue (excluding phone parts). The Digital Template is a downloadable PDF file, perfect for those who already have the device and frame and want professional layout guidance at a low cost.
Can a beginner with no disassembly experience complete it?
Absolutely! We provide detailed video tutorials and illustrated instructions for each model. With a little patience and by following our steps, you can usually complete your artwork within 2-3 hours.
Do I need to prepare any tools myself?
If you purchase a DIY Kit, we include the precision screwdrivers and prying tools needed for disassembly. If you buy a Digital Template, you will need your own screwdrivers, glue, and an A3 or 12x12in size frame.
Can the digital template be printed in different sizes after downloading?
Our PDF templates are designed with a 1:1 ratio of real parts. To ensure the parts align correctly, we recommend printing at the original size indicated in the file (usually A3 or 12x12in) without scaling.
What format are the digital templates, and can they be edited?
The templates are all in PDF format and can be edited in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and PDF editors. You can adjust the design to your liking and create your own unique artwork.

How long does it take to ship after an order is placed?
Since most finished frames require manual assembly and quality inspection by technicians, they are usually shipped within 1-2 business days. DIY Digital Templates are sent via email with a download link immediately after payment.
How long does shipping take?
Our products are shipped from warehouses in Shenzhen, China or Los Angeles, USA. Domestic shipping within the US typically takes 3-4 business days, while international shipping usually takes 7-15 business days, depending on the destination and customs clearance speed. We will provide you with a full tracking number for your records.
Do I need to pay customs duties?
Our price includes taxes; you do not need to pay any additional fees.
Why hasn't the tracking number updated for several days?
When we ship international packages from our Shenzhen warehouse, we create a local tracking label in your country beforehand. The local tracking label will only start updating after the international flight arrives in your country and completes customs inspection. This may take approximately 5-10 days, depending on flight time and customs inspection speed. Please don't worry.
What if the frame glass is broken upon arrival?
Don't worry! If the product is damaged during transit, please take photos and contact our customer service within 48 hours of receipt. We will send a replacement frame for free or provide a satisfactory solution.

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), PayPal, and Apple Pay. All transactions are encrypted to ensure your payment security.
Can I cancel my order?
If the order has not been shipped, you can contact us to request a cancellation and full refund. If the order is already in transit, it cannot be canceled mid-way.
What is your return policy?
For non-customized products, we offer a 14-day return policy (product must be in original packaging and in resalable condition). Please note that due to their nature, digital templates are non-refundable once sent.
Does the product come with a warranty?
We provide a 1-year quality guarantee. We are responsible for repairs or replacements for issues caused by craftsmanship (such as components falling off). Manual damage or unauthorized disassembly is not covered.

Custom Service
Can I send you my own old phone to be framed?
Currently, we mainly offer this service in specific regions (like China). For international users, due to legal risks of shipping old batteries cross-border, we highly recommend purchasing our DIY Kits and using your own device.
Do you support custom framing for uncommon phone models?
As long as you can provide the device, we can design the layout for you. If you are a corporate client or have special requests, please contact our custom team to discuss details.
Do you offer bulk customization for corporate gifts?
Yes. Xreart's teardown frames make highly creative corporate gifts. We support printing company logos, specific dates, or employee names on the layout, and offer bulk discounts.
Can I customize the background layout color or text?
For bulk orders or high-end customization, we support modifying the background, colors, and copy. For individual users, we recommend our existing classic layouts for the best visual balance.
What is the lead time for custom products?
Custom services usually involve redesign and communication, with a lead time of 7-14 business days. The exact timeframe varies depending on the complexity of the design.
